Worked hard yesterday, did a lot of cutting and gluing, so my my chrysanthemum (et al.) set is complete:

I also made a thank-you bookmark for the Lady who ordered the cards:

And then, while digging in the closet for something entirely different, I found a set of scrapbooking papers. Serendipity! Totally forgot that I had them (and, akhem, they were not really stored where they should be...)

A linguistic bookmark

My attempt to learn Spanish was going so well... until I stood on the shore of the Ocean of Verb Endings. And there is no way around it - you just have to jump in and memorize them.

Still far, far away from any sort of success in this matter, I made myself a bookmark with all possible forms of a very popular (and regular) verb - hablar. Of course, it's not going to teach me everything, but at least I may be able to recognize the tense when I attempt to read Spanish texts, and in this way I will familiarize myself with the endings in general.

I used a cover from some old brochure, by now recycled, and papers from the scrap box. And a bunch of beads and buttons for the danglies. Danglies are so fun :)
